I Have Been Blogging For A Whole Year!

I ran a spyware program on my computer last night and this morning when logging onto my blog, I noticed the date I joined the blogging community. It is hard to believe that it has been a year already. So, in celebration I will be giving away a small RAK to one lucky person. All you have to do to be entered into this random drawing is leave a comment on this post. I will draw a name for the RAK on Sunday night, April 20.

Now, for the reason I was logging in to the blog int he first place. I have been working on some layouts for my CT spot with The Paper Tag. I thought I would get them posted here for all my friends to see. I used Rachel's Spring Grunge kit which is so adorable. It just has so many possibilities and she even has an add-on offered in her store for this kit with even more elements. The best part is they are on sale!

Catching Up!

I am so sorry! I have totally ignored this blog this week. I will try to do better in the future.

I did find out that my DIL (she is in Germany) will be home very soon. Since my son has been deployed, she is coming home and bringing the boys for an extended visit! WooHoo!! I can't wait.

OK...earlier in the week, I told you that I had 3 more layouts that were in differing stages of completeness. Well, I finally got around to finishing them yesterday. So I will put them here for everyone to see. I hope you enjoy.

This first one is for my CT committment with Triplett Designs. I used her kit called Old Irish Charm. You can find this kit in the store at K-Joi. This layout is of my son that has been deployed to Iraq.

This next one is part of my CT requirements for Purple Paper Flowers. I am using the kit Kiwi Mochacino by Amanda Dykan.

This last one is actually a remake of an earlier layout. I just wasn't really happy with the first version. There is a Digi Mentors group going on over at The Shaker Box, where I am on the digital CT. I put the layout up for critique...because I wasn't happy with it; but, couldn't see past it being mine. I got some really terrific and helpful comments from the other ladies and decided to do the remake. So, here is take 2.

A Few New Layouts

I have kind of been busy this weekend. I have these layouts finished; and I have three more in almost finished condition but I didn't want to wait about posting these. I will post the others later.

This first one was created as part of my CT requirements for The Shaker Box. I used the kit, In The Garden, by Mad Scrapper Robin Blankenship.

These next two layouts are for the featured designer challenge on Purple Paper Flowers. See I do some layouts just because I want to....not because they are part of some CT requirements. The featured designer is Paula Phillips and I used her Hazy Summer kit.

TOOT......TOOT.....TOOT

I am so excited. Recently I was asked to become part of the new digital CT over at Scrapadilly. I won't officially begin until May 1, but I've already received the fantastic kits by Rick Evans that I will be working with. I can't wait to get started working on my pages for the May 1 CT reveal.

The new digital CT members were also announced over at The Shaker Box this week. Guess who was one of the chosen new CT? You guessed it........ME!!!

I am so excited to have been chosen to be on the CT of these sites. I can't wait to start working with the teams.

I have 3 new layouts....but I'm going to save them for another day.

Until next time!

Just Another Scrapping Weekend.

I sure am enjoying all my time that I have to scrap. It gives me time to relax and reflect on life.

I found out this weekend that I was accepted by Amanda Dykan (Purple Paper Flowers) to be on her CT. I am so excited. I have some other news...but can't say it yet as it hasn't been announced.

I have been busy this weekend and I will start with the layout that I did using one of Amanda Dykan's kits called February Song.
