New Zealand Earthquake Charity Collab - PHOENIX

This quote was made after the earthquake in New Zealand, February 22, 2011. So is the Phoenix as it rises out of the ashes to live again.

The designers and some of the members at sKrapHappens have created this massive kit entitled “Phoenix” as a way to help our sisters and brothers in Christchurch, New Zealand.

Phoenix comes to you with over 100 beautifully, textured papers at 300 dpi and sized at 12 X 12 in jpeg format, over 200 gorgeous elements,17 beautifully created Word Art and 2 Alphas.

Phoenix can be yours for a donation of $10.00. It is our way of extending a helping hand…a heart of love. All monies will be given to Samaritan’s Purse and earmarked for Christchurch, New Zealand Earthquake Disaster Relief.

ADSD April Collab

Friends....we have voted on the color palette and title for our April collab over at ADSD. If you are a designer.....new or veteran....come on over....grab the palette....pop on over to the thread and let us know you will be joining us this month.

Designers....we all know that having freebies on our blogs....increases traffic....your contribution doesn't have to be huge.....you could use this in conjunction with the release of a new kit.

New Zealand Earthquake Relief Collab

We at sKrap Happens have decided that we wanted to do something to help the victims of the recent New Zealand earthquake. The designers and several of our members have got together and chosen a palette and are currently working on getting a super HUGE Mega collab together where all of the proceeds will go to the Samaritan's Purse. Below is the post from the thread over at sKrap Happens.

here IS something we can do -- we can quickly put together a charity kit and name it Phoenix (as in rising from the ashes).... anyone and everyone can contribute. We'll then send ALL proceeds (I will not deduct the paypal fees) to an organization that will help these people get their lives back. If anyone knows of such an organization, please check them out to make sure they are legitimate and let me know. Then we will all need to advertise this wherever we got on the 'net.


NAME OF KIT: PHOENIX

DEADLINE FOR SUBMISSION: MARCH 5

CHARITY: SAMARITAN'S PURSE (specifically for New Zealand victims)

We are trying to get ADSD back in the swing of things. This particular blog train is a little late but will run for the entire 30 days. Please enjoy all the parts available.

If you are a newbie designer and want to get some exposure this is a terrific way to get your name and kits out in the public eye. We would also love to have the more established designers as well as anyone in between the two to jump in and participate...everyone knows the more the participants....the better the blog train. I don't know any designer who can afford to stop advertising and this is a terrific way to do that.

ADSDesigner News

We are attempting to revive ADSdesingers. For those of you that don't know, ADSD is a website that has been around for a little while....it has gone through several changes as different people took over. However the idea behind the site has remained the same. It is a place for aspiring designers and designers to get together and chat if they like....but the site also gives a venue for the possibility of getting your designs out for everyone to see.

We will be doing a blog train every other month. This month we are doing one that will post on February 14, 2011 - called Moonlight & Roses and I really need some more people to sign up to make a small contribution to the blog train....just a couple papers and a few elements..doesn't have to be huge.

If you are willing to commit to this....please come on over to ADSD and pick up the color palette and put your blog address in the thread.
