New Addition to the Family!

My son Michael arrived home for R & R from Iraq just in time for the birth of his daughter.....Jessi Rose Marie Austin. She was born Friday, August 15, 2008 at 1:27 am. She weighed in at 5 pounds 2.8 ounces and was 18 inches long. Here she is:

So, if you haven't been by to take a look at the mini kits that are being created by the designers in the contest...you really should stop by the gallery HERE.

Yes....I am one of the designers in the contest and I would really appreciate your vote. When you click HERE, it will take you to the gallery and just click on the word "vote" for *DEE*. :) Seriously, come by and take a look. All of the designers have links for free downloads of their mini kits.

It has been a while since I offered a freebie of word art. I couldn't sleep tonight...so you gain. I was up making some new word art just for you! Here is the one that I chose to put up today:

OK....I went and did it......

I made my first digital mini kit using the colors provided by the Digital Scrap Garden Contest. I went back & forth as to whether or not I was really going to actually enter the contest or not. Finally last night, I just upload the preview and posted to the thread.

Now, I'm biting my fingernails. Am I really good enough to go up against these other ladies who I look at their mini kits and I go "WOW". Oh well....its done now. Even if I fall on my face.....I can at least say I tried.

OK...I would appreciate anyone who is willing to go over to the Digital Scrap Graden and vote. Yes, I know that once you get over there you may vote for one of the other contestants. That is just the chance I take. Click HERE and it will take you to the gallery section for voting. You will need to register at the site prior to voting. But, it doesn't cost anything and you just might fall in love with the site and people there. Everyone can always use another scrapbooking site to visit!

Now, that I have gotten this finished, I can get back to work on some word art to give away! Thank you all for your support! Until Next Time!

I'm Back!!!

But, just until Sunday and I will be gone again for another week. I can't seem to stay out of the road and it won't be long before school starts back! Guess, I had better get all this going out of my system soon!

Today's little word art freebie is a very positive one. I use this phrase, among others to the kiddos in my classroom all the time. So here is your freebie for today:
